Many of us have been exploring options for online meetings. Different platforms, from Google Hangouts, Zoom, Skype, and more are available, but what about Open Source or self-hosted platforms. In this talk Craig Maloney will talk about one such platform: Jitsi. He'll discuss the history of the project, how to set up a meeting, how encryption works, and some options for hosting your own Jitsi instance. He'll also cover some of caveats and issues faced while setting up your own instance.

Virtual Presentations are not Officially Hosted Penguicon Events and are added to the Penguicon Sched App as a courtesy to our virtual attendees. While Virtual Presentations/Events are not official hosted by Penguicon, the Penguicon Code of Conduct does still apply. Penguicon 2020 is not responsible for last minute Virtual Presentations/Events Cancellations or location changes.
