Welcome to this Penguicon Virtual Presentation.
To join this presentation please visit: (the Facebook Links will be added shortly) Did you spend hours on your cosplay only for every con to be canceled? Still want to show off your skills with the chance for fame and glory, or at least bragging rights and perhaps a cool prize? Well then here is your chance. Penguicon will be hosting its first virtual masquerade on
Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 3pm-8pm. All you need to do is
submit a photo of yourself in your costume of choice to jessica@penguicon.org no later than Saturday at 2pm. Pictures need to be from this week and need to include a sign that says either Penguicon or the date. Please include your name and character you are portraying in your email.
All images will be loaded as comments on the thread and every heart or thumbs up will to the photo will be counted as a vote. The top three images with the most votes will win prizes. Comments will be turned off on the thread at exactly 8pm.
There will be an additional prize for a special category of found items costuming. You must create a costume completely out of found items in your house. No fabrication allowed but sewing and gluing are ok. These photos need to be submitted with a description of the items used in their costumes, character you are portraying, and your name. Please put found items costume in the subject line.
Virtual Presentations are not Officially Hosted Penguicon Events and are added to the Penguicon Sched App as a courtesy to our virtual attendees. While Virtual Presentations/Events are not official hosted by Penguicon, the Penguicon Code of Conduct does still apply. Penguicon 2020 is not responsible for last minute Virtual Presentations/Events Cancellations or location changes.
