Tech talk and book-signing. Network Science analyzes the structure of relationships in complex systems: social networks, electrical grids, the internet, protein interactions, and many others. NetworkX is a FOSS python library for Network Science. Edward L. Platt, author of the recently published Network Science in Python with NetworkX, will walk through examples of network science with python. There will be a short book-signing at the end of the event (signed postcards are available for those who have the ebook).
