The event will start with a quick discussion about what benefits a labor union can bring to a workplace, a community, and the wider national economy before we jump into a brief lecture covering the process of how to most effectively and successfully unionize a workplace. Best practices for unionizing will be discussed before an open Q&A session from audience members who want to unionize their workplace, but still have specific questions about the process. Resources and contact information fitted to different careers/industries will be made available for people to take with them.
